Description: Players are interns with a mad scientist, and are sent on investigations and other missions with inadequate training and incomplete information. Players determine their own characters’ main skills and abilities, and may choose to have training in some esoteric technology, such as phlogistonics, calorics, ectoplasmology or transubstantiation, or they may have magical or psychic abilities.These powers will work imperfectly, when they work at all. Also available are ineffective small arms, mysterious tools, unreliable instruments and barely-steerable transportation. Their clothes will be stylish.
